It is all a part of one’s psyche and relationship with others and society. The book contains stories based on our everyday lives and all of us can easily relate with the point that the author has come up with. Overall the cover is perfect and soothes one’s eyes. The rare image is also very apt and connected inside. The various sizes of the building reveal that diversity of humans and their perceptions that exist in our society. The green leaves on the cover page is again inspired from one of the stories inside. The title of the book is one of the story in the book and the grounds on which the story focuses is something that we all need to look around ourselves and identify. The subtle pink cover of the book is simple and apt with the content of the book.

Some stories seem like they have unfinished ending, May be author has kept them intentionally.Thank you Geetika for liking the book and for this review!. The build up in the plot of stories are well written and some times you may not be able to guess, where the stories gonna end.

The Wedding Trousseau and Other Short Stories, the book containing stories of our day to day life, having different shades and emotions, is thought provoking and worth reading and not so happy ending in almost all stories forces the reader to think the so called realities of our society and life. The language of the book is much more above than average chick flit books and the maturity in the thoughts makes her different from the league of many newbie authors or wanna be authors. Sincere apology to author Ankita Sharma for very much delay in reviewing of her book "The Wedding Trousseau and Other Short Stories" due to some unavoidable reasons and events.Ī book containing short stories of same author has the danger of having stories of same theme, same type content and repetition of thoughts, but Ankita sharma has chosen very different 11 stories which are fresh, of varied themes and taken from our day-to-day life.
